What Payment Methods are accepted at Bargain City stores?
Bargain City stores accept Cash, EFTPOS, All Major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, BankCard) and at selected stores we accept American Express (AMEX) and Diners Club cards.

Do you accept Westfield & Centro Gift Vouchers?
Yes, we sure do. We accept centre gift vouchers at the appropriate stores. Unfortunatley, we cannot issue change on gift vouchers spent at our stores due to Centre Policies.

Am I able to Shop online with this website?
Bargain City does not have online shopping facilities. Why not visit one of our fantastic stores and check out the massive range of products available?

How long has Bargain City been in business for?
We've been in business since 1992 with our first store opening at Westfield Toombul (now known as Centro Toombul). So we've been in business for well over 14 years now making us one of the longest operating discount variety chains in Australia!

Are any of your stores Franchised? / Do you franchise stores?
No. All of our stores are 100% Company Owned.

Are you able to hold products at a store for later pickup?
The maximum time that we are able to hold any product is 24 Hours unless special arrangement with the store manager.

Do you offer lay-by?
Sorry. Unfortunately, we can’t offer lay-by on any of our product lines.

Where is Bargain City located?
We currently have four stores. Westfield Chermside, Centro Toombul, Aspley Hypermarket and Centro Lutwyche. All in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. See our Locations page.

Does Bargain City own any other stores?
Bargain City (Hargovind Pty Ltd) does NOT own any other discount stores, just the 5 stores that were mentioned on our store locations page. We are not associated with any other discount store. Check our Store Locator to be sure of what stores we own.

Is Bargain City 100% Australian?
Bargain City is 100% Australian Owned and Operated, we always have been and we always will. In fact our whole business is based in Queensland, Australia.

Do all your prices include GST?
All prices for products on this website include the 10% Australian GST (Goods & Services Tax). The prices on the yellow price stickers and signs instore all include GST unless otherwise stated.

Can I make bulk orders with Bargain City?
You sure can. We accept bulk orders all the time from individuals and businesses. We even have a page dedicated to Bulk orders so it’s best if you check it out. We have a Bulk Order Inquiry System, where you lodge your Bulk Order Inquiry online and a representative will contact you back with details during business hours.

I can’t see what I'm looking for on your website!
On our website's specials section we have only a small selection of our current "In-store" specials and Major Lines. It’s just a 'taste' of what Bargain City really has to offer. It is not a complete catalogue of all our products. If you are looking for something in particular - please don’t hesitate to email/call one of our stores.
