Our History
In
1992 our first store "Bargain Mania" opened
at Westfield Toombul shopping centre (now known as Centro
Toombul). After over 6 Years of successful operation we
changed our name to Bargain City. Since then, Bargain
City has opened up four more stores at Westfield Chermside
in 1997, Aspley Hypermarket in 1999; Centro Lutwyche in 2004, and our recently opened store at Stafford City Shopping Centre in October 2006.
Our Stores
Bargain City stores are always attractive and efficiently
merchandised for self selection, clean and safe. Our four
stores are currently operational till this date and continue
to provide the public with great quality merchandise at
bargain prices. We look forward to expanding in the future
to provide our customers with an even better shopping
experience.
Our Mission
Our Objective is to provide our customers with products
which are competitively priced and of high quality which
meets our company standards for merchandise. We successfully
achieve our objective through our commitment to continuous
improvement in every aspect of satisfying customers everyday
merchandise needs.

Customers
Our Customers are value conscious people who want to save
money and enjoy an honest Bargain. Whether they are 10
or 120; Bargain City continually offers a broad range
of product lines suitable for almost any age. We continually
add new products to our stores to create a 'fresh' and
'unique' atmosphere. Our Customers are attracted to Bargain
City's convenient shopping locations and our mix of quality,
low price basic everyday items and Bargains.
Our Staff
Bargain City employs over 100 Staff across our five stores.
Our Staff are friendly, fun-loving, understanding and
are willing to help our customers in any way possible.
Bargain City Staff always provide welcoming, efficient
and attentive service. Our Staff are an important asset
to us as they hold up the exceptional reputation that
Bargain City has for customer service.
Our Products
Our product range spans over several thousand lines with
merchandise as diverse as hair care products, electrical,
toiletries, cosmetics and confectionary.. just to name
a few.
